5.8.2019 – Spilios Spiliopoulos and Partners Law Office, acting on behalf of ERGOTRAK SA, undertakes the procedures for the creation of a fictitious pledge on share securities and securities (cheques, bills of exchange, promissory notes, bonds, etc.), in accordance with the provisions of Law 2844/2000, for the fictitious pledge.
In particular, Law 2844/2000 “Contracts on movable property or receivables subject to publicity and other security agreements” allows the creation of a fictitious pledge on movable property, without delivery, by written agreement between the pledger and the creditor and with publication in a special register, if the creditor and the debtor are businesses or professionals (e.g. The security is provided for the needs of the business or profession, i.e. not for non-productive needs. The object of a fictitious pledge can be any movable object, except for money, securities, household effects and movable objects which are subject to a mortgage (e.g. ships or aircraft).
