Amendment of the Articles of Association – Change of Purpose – Harmonization with Law 4583/2018

4.2.2019 – Spilios Spiliopoulos and Partners Law Office” acts, on behalf of SFAKIANAKIS INSURANCE BROKERS SA, in order to amend the company’s Articles of Association and in particular the change of the company’s purpose in accordance with Law 4583/2018.
The Law 4583/2018 – among other things – aims to harmonize the Greek insurance legislation with the provisions of Directive 2016/97 on the distribution of insurance products, as amended by Directive 2018/411/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2018, as well as the replacement and supplementation of relevant provisions of the legislation on insurance brokerage in order to draft a single codified text that will regulate the distribution service of (re)insurance products and its exercise in Greece.
