20.7.2019 – Spilios Spiliopoulos and Partners Law Office is carrying out the necessary procedures for the change of the beneficiaries of the international trademarks of SFAKIANAKIS INSURANCE PRACTORAS ASFAΛISION S.A. based on the Madrid Protocol for the international registration of trademarks.
The Madrid Protocol for the International Registration of Marks is a treaty administered by the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO – WIPO) in Geneva. It came into force in April 1996 and has since been ratified by many countries worldwide, including most European countries, the USA, Japan, Australia, China, Russia and, since October 2004, the European Union (EU).
The Madrid Protocol enables trademark owners to obtain protection for their trademarks in different countries by simply filing an application directly with the trademark office in their country or region.
