14.4.2019 –Spilios Spiliopoulos & Partners Law Office acts for the purpose of drafting and legal control of a franchising agreement between a limited liability company based in Greece and Enterprise Company based in England. In this context, our office processes and controls the relevant contracts, including their annexes.
Franchising contracts relate to the promotion and sale of products and/or services based on a specific business method, which is granted by the franchisee (franchisor), including everything that this method entails, to the operator (franchisee).
This business method includes, in particular, the licensing of trademarks, distinctive signs and know-how, as well as the provision of commercial and/or technical assistance to the franchisee during the term of the agreement.
These agreements are based on close and continuous cooperation between the franchisor and the franchisee and allow the franchisor to create a uniform network for the distribution of its products (with comparatively limited investment).
