08.03.2006 – The law firm “Spilios Spiliopoulos & Partners” is acting for the notification of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission regarding the share capital increase of a Société Anonyme (S.A.) by contribution in kind.
The Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) was established as a Legal Entity under Public Law by Law 1969/91 and was organized under Law 2324/1995, with the purpose of protecting investors and ensuring the smooth operation of the Greek capital market, which is an important driver of national economic development. The HCMC is responsible for overseeing the implementation of capital market legislation. It also plays a key role in shaping the regulatory framework at national, European, and international levels, contributing actively to the work of the Council of the European Union, ESMA, and IOSCO.
