THE APPLICANT’S APPEAL AGAINST THE DECISION OF THE RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE TO REJECT HIS/HER APPLICATION FOR A NEW RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE HAS BEEN REJECTED.
The Appeals Committee of the Supreme Personnel Selection Board (SPSC) upheld an overdue appeal submitted by our firm on behalf of a candidate for re-registration on the relevant electronic staff lists of the 6th Department of Public Health.
The candidate was placed in the relevant classification list of the category/section PE NURSING and after checking the application and the submitted supporting documents, he was not appointed to a recruitment post, on the grounds of “FAILURE TO SUBMIT A CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE BODY”, since he had not submitted a certificate of his insurance body.
When the case was assigned to our office, the statutory time limit for filing an appeal had already expired. With the candidate’s knowledge and with his full consent from the outset, we lodged an objection out of time, with appropriate legal and factual documentation, so that the objections committee of the AESEP could order the candidate’s re-registration on the electronically posted list of auxiliary staff.
Thereupon, the Appeals Committee of the AACC, taking into account our well-founded legal and factual allegations, GRANTED OUR OVERDUE APPEAL and ruled that the candidate fulfilled all the recruitment criteria, ordering the candidate to be re-registered on the electronic list of auxiliary staff and in the appropriate order of the relevant classification list.
